Removal

1.	Remove the seat back cover and cushion cover. (Refer to the BD group - "Front seat")

2.	Remove the driver / assist seat back heater (A) and cushion heater (B).

Installation

1.	Install the driver / assist seat back and cushion heater.

Inspection

First Seat Heater

Check for continuity and measure the resistance between terminals as below.

Standard value

Cushion : 1.32x ± 10% (leather), 1.76x ± 10% (fabric)

Back : 1.85x ± 10%

Set : 3.17x ± 10% (leather), 3.61x ± 10% (fabric)

Operate the seat warmer after connecting the 4P connector, and then check the thermostat by measuring the temperature of seat surface.

Standard value

High : 107.6 ± 3.6°F (42 ± 2°C) (Cushion),

125.6 ± 3.6°F (52 ± 2°C) (Back)

Low : 104 ± 3.6°F (40 ± 2°C) (Cushion),

114.8 ± 3.6°F (46 ± 2°C) (Back)
